Q:  If you’re a cynic about what McLuhan has left 
us, but recognize the importance of understanding 
modern media, who do you think is doing a better 
job, who may be fulfilling that function in a better 
way?

Q:  It seems that you recognize that part of the 
reason for his fame was that urgent need to 
understand television. Today his resurgence may 
be filling a perceived or real vacuum. Who is 
providing direction now?
